Watch the connection between (a) your arches lifting, and (b) the shins and thighs (just below and above your knees) rotating slightly out in harmony with each other. Your kneecaps should be in line with the second toe of each foot. Straighten your legs slowly and smoothly, maintaining the actions of these muscles; don’t allow your knees to lock or turn inward, and don’t let your lower back round. For a 150-pound person doing Ashtanga, Vinyasa, classical Hatha or power yoga, it will take approximately 324 hours to lose 22 kilograms. Assuming that you work out five times per week for one hour at a time, it will take about 65 weeks to lose 20 kilograms. But if you only work out for three hours a week, it will take you 108 weeks. Doing Bikram yoga, a 150-pound person will need 226 hours of exercise to lose 20 kilograms. At five hours per week, this would take about 45 weeks, and at three hours per week, it would take 75 weeks.

We recently added this DVD into our yoga routine and use it approximately every-other-week. This is a very good routine. It is paced on the slower side but there are few breaks so even though it is slow, you keep on moving through the entire routine. Rodney’s voice is very calming and peaceful. We have several of his DVD’s and enjoy them all. I highly recommend this workout.
