I am new to yoga (started doing classes within the past year) and bought the Rodney Yee video due to high recommendations from the yoga instructor. I bought the two-pack with Yoga Burn and Strength Building Yoga. I put Strength Building Yoga in first and within minutes was popping the video out due to its advanced level. I am nowhere near capable of tossing my legs up into the air and doing a handstand! Not yet anyhow. I then put in Yoga Burn and thankfully this was doable. I’m 16 years of age. My height is 5ft 11 inches. My weight is 75. I don’t have much belly fat but the man boobs is slightly disturbing. I play state level tennis and do exercises. I wanted to write and let people know that is not a place for resting. I stayed here for a couple days after a retreat i was on to decompress and sleep and it was the worst part of my bali experience. it feels like i was back in college and everyone out and about, playing music, talking, singing, yelling..and i hope you like screaming kids at 6:30 in the morning because the place is connected to an elementary school. good food though

I have done all kinds of yoga for many years. But… I have never been into yoga for the “meditation” and have been mostly interested in flows and hot yoga. These exercises don’t give you major calorie burn but I find when losing weight, the lighter on the exercise I am, the faster I lose the weight while still creating muscle definition. I would say that you should have a basic background and taken some classes with an instructor before trying yoga at home.
