It teaches you to work with what you have on that day because everyday the body has something different to offer and to teach. By coming more in touch with your body you are able to work with it, not against it. When you can hear what the body needs you are able to work together to go beyond your boundaries in a way you never considered before.
I definitely feel that there could have been a lot more included in this video; and – more importantly – that the regular workout videos should include references to the type of breathing recommended to use while practicing yoga.

These various types of yoga classes allowed us to focus not only on our physical workout but our inner-self as well. In each class the instructors focused on our oojayee breathing which is when you find a constriction in the back of your throat allowing you to breath deeper and find a more intese relaxation. These classes were very enjoyable because the other classes we took more high intensity and left us feeling very sore. Yoga allowed us to have a good workout but also stretch our bodies which is very important when regularly working out in order to prevent injury. In slow burn yoga the instructor focused on holding poses which is extremely challenging but very beneficial as it builds muscle. The music as also very calming and peaceful and helped us to achieve inner peace.
