Usually you’d never get me to contribute while in a class but I felt like it was such a safe place. I had no anxiety. No fear. When I started my yoga practice, my feet ached after every class. And wide-legged poses like Warrior 2 (Virabhadrasana II), Extended Triangle (Utthita Trikonasana) or Wide-Legged Forward Bend (Prasarita Padottanasana) were the worst.
While the knees should be placed beneath your hips, the palms must go under your shoulders facing the floor. Keep the head straight. Space out the knees slightly so that your weight is spread out evenly.

Place your hands by your sides and tighten your core. Then, squeeze your knees in towards each other, thinking about trying to squish the stability ball. This will be a small movement, and that’s what you’re aiming for here.

Ultimately, I would have preferred workouts that were a full 45-minutes in duration – including designated warm-up and cool-down periods. Also, the addition of a final relaxation would have made this feel a lot more like yoga to me.

Climbing steps are one of the best exercises to lose upper thigh fat that also protects the knees. You can use a step machine or stair master and get excellent results in a short time.
