You may not attain the perfect pose on the first go but don’t give up and bend your body as much as you can. This pose puts immense pressure on your belly fat and helps in reducing it.
You can choose to always dim the taskbar and background, or you can choose intervals in which it will turn on when the laptop is idle. Moving your cursor over the taskbar will always bring it back to full brightness and opaqueness (there’s a bit of transparency). A general good practice on laptops without dedicated settings is to make your display dim or turn off after a few minutes of idling.

See your doctor if you have hypertension, osteoporosis or heart problems, and only take yoga classes from a qualified instructor. Start with a beginner class if you’re a yoga rookie, and don’t overextend yourself to achieve any asanas. Listen to your body, and halt if you feel any pain or become dizzy. Don’t eat a large meal just before your session, but do bring along a water bottle.
I liked this one alot. It was super easy and i see how stress has been my number one enemy. It’s that stress that made it so hard, all the other diets I tried. I love that every student is given a “token” (with an inspiring word on it no less) upon sign in that is then given to the teacher at the beginning of class. The system of the teacher walking around the room to collect these tokens creates a wonderful moment of connection and an opportunity to speak up if there are any injuries or things of that nature to be discussed. Nice job YYoga.
I have been coming to this studio for over 2 years and it never fails to amaze me. The place is impeccably clean and the staff are always smiling and ready to help you with anything you might need. I usually head to core or pilates, but I’ve also been to hot, hatha, and restorative and I have to say all the instructors I have ever had have been amazing. Extremely helpful and always have a positive energy about them. Fantastic studio. They just changed their pricing structure which makes it more expensive for a class – it used to be $12.75 for a 60 mins class with their flex pass whereas now it’s $14.50 with the 10-class deal. Pricier but pretty standard across other Vancouver studios I’d say. Highly recommend regardless.

This shirt is beautiful and soft and perfect for a yoga practice. I’m not sure why someone would complain that’s it’s too small. I ordered my size and it fit perfectly. I don’t want a baggy shirt falling to my shoulders in down dog. It’s supposed to fit snuggly so it doesn’t ride up.

When we walked into the studio, we were quite intimidated seeing everyone work on their yoga poses but the instructor quickly recognized that we were new and greeted us and tried to make us feel comfortable. One thing that surprised me a bit was that the instructor did not actually stand in front of the class and do any of the poses like you would see for example in a dance/fitness class. Instead, she told us what to do verbally and just walked around the room correcting everyone’s poses. My boyfriend and I had to look at everyone else to keep up as we had no idea what she was talking about! (i.e. warrior pose, downward upward dog, dancer’s pose etc.)
