To help you calm your mind and balance out your emotions we’re happy to share this Kundalini Yoga Meditation with you that is working with the energies of the Sun and the Moon. It will allow you to rest in inner peace and experience what feelings are being brought up in the light of the Full Moon. How to do this Meditation for a Calm Mind and Strong Nerves Sit with a straight spine in easy-pose, bring your hands together in Prayer Pose and tune in with the mantra ‘Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo’ 3 times. Mudra for Women: For the women bring your left hand (feminine side) in the mudra of the sun (masculine) connecting the tip of your ring finger with the tip of your thumb. Bring this mudra up to the level of the ear with the palm facing forward. Your right hand (masculine Side) rests in your lap, palm up in the mudra of the Moon (feminine) connecting the tip of your pinkie finger with the tip of the thumb. Mudra for Men: bring your hands in exactly the opposite position, right hand up by ear in the sun mudra, left hand in the Moon mudra in your lap. Eyes: One tenth open Breath: long and deep through the nose only Duration: Stay in the position for 11 minutes. End: Inhale deeply, raise both your arms, spread your fingers wide and shake them while you exhale. Keep shaking for a minute to help distribute the energy into your whole system. Glucose is sugar and comes in many forms. Both simple and complex carbs are broken down into glucose. Simple carbohydrates include white bread, pasta and refined sugars. They are easily broken down by the body and released into the bloodstream. If a yoga exercise is preceded by a meal of refined carbs and sugars, the bloodstream will be high in glucose and there will be a delay in the body’s initialization of fat burning. The body’s fat stores are the last resource that the body resorts to for energy. Fat stores are also more difficult to convert to energy than glucose. That is why it is important that a healthy diet accompany yoga to burn calories and fat during exercise. If a meal of complex carbohydrates precedes yoga, it is more likely that fat burning will occur. Complex carbohydrates, like those found in apples, are broken down less easily to glucose. They will be available to the body as a source of energy for a longer period of time and keep us energized for longer. While the body works to break down complex carbohydrates, it will more likely resort to fat stores and engage in fat burning.
You can also do yoga exercises for the legs in addition to other sports that you do to bring your body in shape. They are great for stretching before or after running and can be used for warming up, too.

Be ready for the workout of your life! I did not read the details before inserting this DVD. The movements are slow and methodical and flow from body part to body part seamlessly. However, I was not at all prepared for an hour long series of movement. I got the burn of my life with this workout and felt completely rejuvenated afterwards.
